AdvantEdge

AdvantEdge

The KAGE AdvantEdge snow plow cutting edge is a live cutting edge system that is designed to contour to crowns and dips in roads, parking lots, etc, while accommodating low profile obstacles such as manhole covers. Each spring-loaded 18-inch or 24-inch section of the cutting edge offers both vertical travel and oscillation to ensure constant contact with the plowing surface.

In addition to providing a better scrape on uneven surfaces than solid straight cutting edges, the floating and flexing nature of the cutting edge, combined with harder material construction, greatly increases the lifespan of the cutting edge and reduces uneven wear on the edges.

The AdvantEdge floating cutting edge sections are available in either Hardox or Carbide materials. The Hardox steel edge sections are expected to last 4-10 times as long as traditional high carbon steel cutting edges while the Carbide plow cutting edge sections often last 10-20 times as long as traditional steel cutting edges.

AdvantEdge flex cutting edge for snow plows are bolt-on cutting edges that fit any plow with a universal highway punch - or DOT punch. This includes municipal plow trucks, wheel loader plows, tractor plows and skid steer plows and snow pushers. The 18- and 24-inch sections allow it to fit virtually any size plow, including our 6-, 8-, 9-, 10-, and 12-foot SnowFire Series plows, 10-, 12-, and 14-foot SnowStorm Series Plows and 12-, 14-, 16-, 18- and 20-foot SnowDozer Series Plows.
